Prof. Dr. Bilgin Keserci, PhD, is an internationally experienced medical physicist and researcher with more than 25 years of expertise in advanced medical imaging, artificial intelligence in medicine, image-guided oncology therapies, and translational cancer technology development.
He obtained his PhD in Medical Radiation Physics from The Chicago Medical School / University of Chicago, USA, in collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School, focusing on computer-aided diagnosis and advanced medical imaging technologies. He also completed postdoctoral research training at Osaka University Medical School, Japan, under the prestigious JSPS Fellowship programme.
Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Keserci has held senior scientific and executive leadership positions within globally recognised healthcare and medical technology organisations including Philips Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Samsung Medical Center, SM MediTec Korea, and Revotera.
His international experience spans the United States, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Türkiye. His core expertise includes Electric Fields related treatment, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) physics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical imaging, Magnetic Resonance-guided High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (MR-HIFU), image-guided tumour therapy, thermal ablation technologies, radiation therapy planning, and advanced computational modelling. He has also been actively involved in research and development of ECCT cancer therapy systems, focusing on translational oncology applications and complementary cancer care technologies.
Prof. Dr. Keserci has led and collaborated in numerous international clinical trials, research programmes, and healthcare innovation projects across Asia and Europe, including partnerships with leading institutions such as Samsung Medical Center, Osaka University, Kyoto University, National Cancer Center Japan, and Universiti Sains Malaysia.
Academically, he has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications, conference proceedings, and research presentations in the fields of medical imaging, MRI-guided therapies, oncology technology, AI-driven diagnostics, and focused ultrasound therapy. His research contributions have been published internationally in collaboration with clinicians, engineers, physicists, and oncology specialists worldwide.
His extensive scientific, engineering, and clinical technology background provides ECCT with valuable expertise in intelligent healthcare innovation, non-invasive therapy development, and medically guided supportive cancer care advancement.
