Madam Wong Choy Sim is a 46-year-old woman from Pahang, Malaysia. Like many people her age, she had been managing high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and had kept to a vegetarian diet for years. Life was ordinary, until one day she noticed a dull, persistent ache on her right side. She brushed it off at first, assuming it would go away on its own. But it did not. In November 2024, a kidney scan revealed a large mass growing at the lower part of her right kidney, over 10cm wide and highly irregular in shape. The doctors were concerned. A more detailed CT scan in January 2025 painted a clearer and more worrying picture: the mass was pressing against her liver, had dead tissue forming inside it, and was rated as highly complex. On top of that, kidney stones were found in both kidneys, and a fibroid measuring close to 5cm was discovered in her uterus. Further scans of her chest in March 2025 flagged two small spots of 1.3cm on her right lung and a slightly enlarged lymph node in her chest. On 25 March 2025, Madam Wong went through surgery to have her entire right kidney removed. When the tissue was examined, the diagnosis was confirmed: renal cell carcinoma, chromophobe type, at stage pT2a. The good news was that the cancer was still contained within the kidney, it had not spread to surrounding tissue, blood vessels, or lymph nodes. As far as the surgical team could tell, the cancer had been fully removed. But the spot in her right lung and fibroid still present. Two months later, in May 2025, she stumbled onto ECCT via FB and decided to start ECCT given the non-invasive nature. Right away, Madam Wong noticed how easy the vest was to use. She could wear it while going about her day at home, sitting, resting, moving around. Better still, she did not have to stop wearing it when she went to work. She simply put it on before leaving the house and carried on with her day as normal. There were injection, no surgery, no toxicity, no side effects at all. And when a full cancer marker panel was done in April 2026, checking Ca 19-9, CEA, Ca 125, Ca 15.3, AFP, and LDH, every single result came back normal. The most telling results came from a full body CT scan done on 24 April 2026. The two small lung spots that had been flagged a year earlier had completely disappeared, without any surgery or conventional medical treatment. The area where her right kidney used to be showed no sign of cancer returning. No abnormal lymph nodes. No spread to any other organ. No fluid build-up. Nothing suspicious anywhere. Her oncologist reviewed the scans and gave her the all-clear: no recurrence, no spread. There was one more thing worth mentioning. The uterine fibroid that had measured close to 5 cm when she started ECCT, something Madam Wong had been keeping an eye on herself, had shrunk to just 1.9cm by April 2026. It had more than halved in size over twelve months, without any surgery or hospital treatment. When asked how she felt about everything, Madam Wong did not hesitate. She is very happy. She is back at work, eating well, and getting on with life. But she also said something that stayed with the people who heard it. When Mr. Barrington Beckford, 87 years old from Romania first started ECCT under the care of Dr Chandran, the family’s biggest concern was not only the Advanced Prostate Cancer itself, but also his age, overall comfort, and whether his quality of life could realistically be maintained at 87 years old. The family also appreciated that ECCT could be done comfortably at home under supervision, especially since travelling had become difficult after previous treatments. Female, Austria, Europe - My name is Birgit, and I come from Austria. In 2021, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. I had surgery, and the tumour was removed. The pathology later confirmed a poorly differentiated, high-grade triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma, with a very high proliferation index. Chemotherapy was recommended to me, but I decided not to do it. I had always lived a very natural life and avoided taking medication whenever possible. I was afraid of chemotherapy and its side effects, and at that time I was not ready to stay in one place for a long period as I’ve always been a very international and mobile person. After the surgery, I continued traveling. I travelled for years. In 2024, I began to realize that the tumor had started growing again. I tried everything that was possible with alternative treatments, but I could see that it was growing very rapidly out of control. Over the following months, it grew rapidly. Imaging revealed a large, lobulated mass measuring approximately 44 × 50 mm. The skin over the breast became tense, discoloured, and painful, especially at night. An enlarged axillary lymph node raised further concern as well. At some point, I understood that I needed more support. I contacted the ECCT team, and they explained to me how ECCT works. During the initial consultation, the team carefully reviewed my medical history, imaging, biopsy results, and symptoms. They encourage me to get proper biopsy and told me that it is likely recurrent of metastatic TNBC. The scan later on does confirm it’s TNBC involving my liver, bone, lung, and lymph nodes. The biopsy as well confirmed a highly aggressive recurrence. The tumour was again triple-negative, now with a Ki-67 of 90%, extensive necrosis, numerous atypical mitoses, and no PD-L1 expression, these features associated with fast growth and limited immunotherapy options. The ECCT medical team as well explained that ECCT can work as complementary therapy to enhance chemotherapy and give it a much faster result, working alongside oncology treatment rather than replacing it. I felt that this approach could fit my philosophy. I decided to start ECCT treatment before my chemotherapy. When I first start for treatment, the tumour was very big. It was visible, and it was painful. My arm movement was restricted. I was very tired, and I had lost weight. Emotionally, it was very difficult for me. – Breast discomfort from the large, ulcerating tumour – Night pain – Weight loss over several months – Preserved appetite and general strength From the beginning, the ECCT team was incredibly supportive. They explained everything very clearly. I felt safe, and I felt respected in my decisions. They never pressured me, and they always listened. ECCT made sense to me because it is non-invasive and targeted. It supports the body instead of destroying everything. I liked that it works together with the immune system, and I also liked that it can be combined with other treatments. Under ECCT medical team encouragement, I decided to also start chemotherapy. This was not an easy decision for me, but with the support of the ECCT in protecting my normal cells, I felt strong enough to do it. ECCT helped me tolerate chemotherapy much better. By December 2025, PET-CT imaging showed a clear and significant treatment response for my resolution of TNBC Ki-67 of 90%: – Liver metastases had markedly reduced in size and metabolic activity – Bone lesions were less active – Lung nodules showed improvement – The ulcerated breast tumour had become significantly smaller This gave me a lot of hope. It confirmed what I do is heading to the right direction. The support I received from ECCT medical team was amazing, not only medically but also emotionally. Every doctor, and every staff member treated me with kindness. They always asked how I was feeling and adjusted the treatment whenever it was needed. They encouraged me when I was scared. The team was always there, to educate me, to give me information, to tell me much more about my condition compared to the doctor in the hospital. Today, I feel much better. I feel stronger, and I feel hopeful. I know that my journey is not finished yet, but I trust the process, and I trust my body. I am deeply grateful that I found ECCT and this team. Mr. Yap was prescribed another 8 cycles of chemotherapy, but after just 2 cycles, his body could no longer withstand the harsh side effects. Gabit Saleh’s Story: A Racer’s Fight NPC with ECCT Beyond the Track Gabit Saleh was known to many Malaysians as a motorcycle racing champion — a two-time FIM Asia Supermoto winner and the first Malaysian to compete in the Supermoto World Championship in Italy. On the track, he was fast, focused, and fearless. But in 2022, life threw him into a different kind of race — one he never expected. It started with a lump on his neck. At first, Gabit didn’t think too much of it. Then his vision started getting blurry in one eye. He even raced in Italy with one eye closed just to get through the competition. Slowly, people around him noticed something was off — his eye started looking slightly crooked. That’s when he finally went for a check-up. The diagnosis: Stage 3 nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC). Gabit started radiation and chemotherapy, the standard treatment. It was tough. He lost a lot of strength, had to stop working, and the treatment caused pain in his tongue, making it hard to speak. But the worst part? After all the pain and side effects, the tumour didn’t shrink much. It was heartbreaking. Then came a glimmer of hope — from a neighbour. Mr Khairul, 39-year-old male in Malaysia, had been dealing with a right testicular swelling for the past six years, which gradually increased in size. In November 2023, his condition worsened, and he sought medical attention at the Hospital. Imaging confirmed the diagnosis of right testicular carcinoma with metastasis to the lungs and lymph nodes, including large para-aortic nodes. After careful consideration, he agreed to undergo chemotherapy (BEP regimen) after completing four cycles, his tumor size was reduced by a bit, and his overall condition stabilized, despite metastasis to the lungs and spine. Although he experience side effects such as fatigue and a reduced appetite, but there was no pain or bleeding. However, subsequent chemotherapy does not show further effect and his tumour continue to grow and tumour marker continue to rise. His oncology then stopped chemotherapy hereafter. In Feb 2025 during Chinese New Year, he came across ECCT and decided to give it a try as the Alternative Treatment for Testicular Cancer. Prior to the initiation of ECCT, Khairul’s serum AFP levels were on an increasing trend, indicating active disease progression. His hemoglobin (HB) was also low, reflecting anemia likely due to tumor burden and previous chemotherapy effects. Since beginning ECCT, now over five months, Khairul's condition has markedly improved. His body weight has stabilized and increased slightly from 52kg to 59kg, suggesting an improvement in general physical status. Even good news is, his recent blood tests show a significant decline in AFP levels from 11.3 to return normal at 7.0, continue to reduced to 5.5 and reaching 4.7 after near five month of the treatment, indicating a favorable response to the treatment by reducing tumor activity and metastasis. Furthermore, his hemoglobin levels and albumin globulin ratio have risen, reflecting improved blood health, reduced anemia and improved liver function. Notably, he reports no new symptoms of pain or discomfort, along his treatment with ECCT. This case exemplifies how ECCT can effectively contribute to controlling advanced metastatic testicular cancer, improving biochemical markers, and enhancing the patient’s quality of life. Khairul’s progress continues to be closely monitored, with ongoing assessments to optimize his treatment plan.

In 2023, Aqeel was diagnosed with a rare and complex brain tumor in the left thalamus—a deep and sensitive area of the brain where surgery carried significant risks. He bravely underwent chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and had a VP shunt placed to relieve hydrocephalus. Although initially classified as a low-grade glioma, a follow-up DNA sequencing study confirmed that Aqeel's tumor is a high-grade glioma (Grade 4). H3-3A K28M (also referred to as K27M) is a hotspot mutation and is associated with adverse prognosis in adult and pediatric glioma patients (NCCN.orS). This variant is diagnostic of "Diffuse midline gliom4 H3K27 altered", WH) grade 4. Currently, there are no FDA approved or NCcN-Compendium recommended treatment options for patients harboring this variant. Despite intensive treatment, the tumor progressed, spreading to the right cerebellum and causing new lesions. Each MRI brought mixed results—small improvements were often overshadowed by new challenges. His condition became more unpredictable, and hope began to dim. With few options remaining, his family made a courageous decision in March 2024 to try ECCT alongside low-dose chemotherapy. It marked a turning point. Over the next few months, Aqeel began to show signs of improvement: the lesions reduced in size, the pressure in the brain eased, and MRI scans showed improved ventricular conditions. Though his progress has been slow, it has been steady—and deeply meaningful. Today, 14 months post ECCT treatment, Aqeel is gradually recovering day by day and the family as well engaged with a physiotherapist to help regain strength and function. Now, more than a year later, Aqeel turning 17th years old and still remains with his loved ones—an outcome that once seemed out of reach. Every day is a gift. Her Journey of Gallbladder Cancer Treatment and Progress: June 2023: Diagnosis of gallbladder cancer with liver metastases. July 18, 2023 (PET CT): Multiple liver metastases (largest 64 mm), hypermetabolic abdominal and para-aortic nodes, and left supraclavicular nodes involved. Chemotherapy with Gemcitabine, Cisplatin, and Durvalumab initiated. Abdominal nodal metastases resolved. Nov 2023: Completed chemotherapy December 2023: MRI showed one lesion in the liver, but TACE wasn’t possible. Open surgery, cholecystectomy, and resection of 10% of the liver. August 9, 2024 (PET CT): New mediastinal nodes and bilateral pleural effusions (suspected to cause by flu and bad cough). September 1, 2024: Started ECCT. September 18, 2024 (PET CT): Resolution of mediastinal and hilar nodes, and thyroid hypermetabolism reduced. May 6, 2025 PET CT): The scan shows no conclusive evidence of recurrent, regional, or distant metastatic disease, with decreased thyroid FDG uptake likely benign and stomach FDG uptake likely due to gastritis.
