Alternative cancer treatment without surgery for Grade 2 Breast cancer invasive carcinoma (NST)

Alternative cancer treatment without surgery

She was only 24 years old when, five years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. An ultrasound showed multiple lesions in both breasts, consisting of solid (malignant), benign, and cystic types. A PET scan revealed malignant activity in the left breast. A biopsy of the suspicious lump confirmed invasive carcinoma of no special type (NST), grade 2.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) results showed estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) positive, HER2 +2, and a high proliferation index Ki67 of 70–80%, indicating that the cancer was aggressive and prone to spread.

Medically, the recommended procedure was radical mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy, and continued targeted therapy with anti-hormonal and anti-HER2 treatments. Her mother panicked, and she was equally distressed. The main concern was that she was only 24 years old, just graduated from university, was there no alternative to avoid a radical mastectomy?

She and her mother went to explore the possibility of using ECCT therapy as Alternative cancer treatment without surgery to avoid mastectomy.

The lesions were relatively small (less than 2 cm) and she continue taking anti-hormonal medication and anti-HER2 therapy prescribed by her doctor as combination.

During her treatment, she, supported by her mother, regularly visited her doctor for monthly check-ups. For the first six months, her condition remained stable, which was consistent with the expected slow response of lower-grade cancers to ECCT. After 8–9 months, an ultrasound showed reduction in both malignant and benign lesions. After three years of continuous ECCT use, she was declared CLEAR, no malignant, benign, or cystic lesions were detectable on ultrasound.

Now, after five years, she remains healthy and normal. Both her breasts are intact and normal looking without invasive treatment.
